| Use the air supply to blow sawdust from the
material you are cutting. The air supply is shown in the
picture to the right. |

The scroll saw cuts on the down stroke, therefore the
teeth of the saw blade must be pointed downward (below).

When finished using the scroll saw, release
the tension on the saw
blade by releasing the tension lever as illustrated below |

Note: loosen the tension on the saw blade when
the scroll saw is not in use. Never tension the saw blade by
turning the tension knob. Let the blade tension first, then
flip the knob to the closed position. The knob is shown in the
picture to the right. |
